This was a small-scaled field experiment examining the effects of a 15-minute relaxation program with yoga on recovery from job stress. Four types of recovery experiences and recovery-related self-efficacy were measured as criteria. It was found that this short relaxation program was effective in improving mastery experience and recovery-related self-efficacy. The results imply that a worksite stress intervention does not have to be lengthy.
